The government's commitment to the Sabka Saath mantra over the past decade has resulted in empowering 25 crore individuals, breaking the shackles of multi-dimensional poverty claims Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in todays Interim Budget.

Acknowledging the limitations of the earlier entitlement-based strategy, the government has adopted a transformative approach, focusing on direct empowerment. Under the PM Jan Dhan Yojana, a staggering Rs. 34 lakh crore has been transferred directly, leading to government savings of Rs. 2.7 lakh crore. This financial efficiency has played a pivotal role in augmenting funds for the Garib Kalyan initiative.
